Jose Guillen will be in the Royals’ lineup against the New York Yankees on Wednesday. The Commissioner’s office informed the Royals shortly before noon today that the stay of Guillen’s suspension has been extended at least through this weekend.
Guillen was suspended for 15 days, shortly after signing a free agent contract with the Royals for not abiding by the league’s substance abuse policy.
