One Missouri kicker has edged another for a shot at a job with the Green Bay Packers. David Purnell, who handled the kicking for Northwest Missouri State’s two D-II national championship teams, will go into training camp as the Pack’s number two kicker, behind Ryan Longwell. Purnell beat out former Southwest Missouri State kicker Travis Brawner for the chance to battle Longwell.
