Bob Priddy has been our News Director since Missourinet first came on the air in January, 1975. After four decades of covering politics, Bob has decided to leave the Missourinet newsroom and pursue other passions. We’re all sad to see Bob retire but also excited for the adventures he has ahead of him. No matter what he does, Bob will always be a part of Missourinet’s past, present and future.
Steve Mays (Bob’s friend and former Learfielder) sat Bob down and talked to him about retiring, the most memorable story he covered, what’s next for Bob and a lot more. Thanks to Smays.com for the video.
This is the full video from Bob’s retirement dinner, held October 6, 2014. The last to speak, Bob entertains the crowd with a speech that covers his career, his family life and what he plans on doing in the future.
Senator Claire McCaskill introduces Bob at his retirement dinner in Columbia, MO. In attendance were current and former Missourinet staff, old friends from the Capitol, Bob’s family and many, many others.
This video was played during Bob’s dinner. It was created by the people he has worked with over the past 40 years. It has a lot inside jokes and plenty of love and admiration for the man with eh stained red tie.
