Imagine walking through the Kansas City Zoo with your kids this fall. You might start with giraffes towering over you, then encounter colorful animals and exhibits before the sun goes down, and the zoo comes alive with thousands of glowing lights and giant illuminated creatures. Add in Halloween activities, music, food, and some pretty unusual after-dark experiences, and a trip to the zoo becomes a lot more than just looking at animals.
