College athletics has changed dramatically in just the past few years, but a bipartisan group of U.S. senators, including Missouri Senator Eric Schmitt, has the backing of the SEC and Big Ten conferences for the Protect College Sports Act, legislation aimed at bringing more stability to college sports while preserving opportunities for student-athletes.
