The Royals are taking the field for their regular-season opener Friday evening against the Atlanta Braves. Two lefties will start—Cole Ragans for the Royals, Chris Sale for the Braves. The Royals finished last season third in the AL Central at 82-80 and Ragans only made 13 starts because of injuries. David Lesky of Inside the Crown joined Show Me Today and says that with a healthy Ragans and revamped lineup, not only are the Royals primed for the playoffs, they can compete for the AL Central title.
