Missouri courts are warning the public about fake websites posing as the state’s official Case.net system.
Court leaders say a fraudulent site discovered this week — Casenetmo.us — could expose Missouri users to viruses or other malware. Other fraudulent web addresses included:
- mo-casenet.us
- casenetmo.net
- mo-case.net
- casenetmonet.website3.me
- www-casenetmo.us
The Missouri Judiciary stresses there is only one legitimate Case.net, which is maintained by Missouri court personnel and linked through the Missouri Courts website. Missourians are urged to avoid unofficial links found through online searches and to go directly to courts.dot.mo.gov, then click on the Case.net tab, to access case information safely.
