Missouri Joins “Home For Every Child” Foster Care Improvement Initiative (LISTEN)

Missouri is the 2nd state to opt into a national initiative aimed at improving foster care.  The main goal of the program is to ensure children have a safe, stable, loving environment.  Missouri has over 11-thousand newborns-to-young adults in foster care. 

Sara Smith, of the Missouri Department of Social Services, tells Sue Danielson there are 3,000 licensed foster homes and 25-hundred relative foster homes.
