Imagine losing your home, your job, your school, everything you’ve worked for, not because of anything you did, but because of who you are. That was the reality for thousands of Japanese American families during World War II.
A new exhibition at the St. Louis Kaplan Feldman Holocaust Museum tells that story through the eyes of their grandchildren, artists carrying the weight of a decision that forever changed their families. It’s called Resilience – A Sansei Sense of Legacy, and joining us to talk about it are Robin Hattori and Robb Nelson.
