Fewer Traffic Deaths in Missouri For Third Year in a Row (LISTEN)

Missouri traffic deaths are down for the third year in a row, a positive trend officials say shows progress is being made on our roadways. Even with that improvement, more than 900 people still lost their lives in crashes last year.

Jon Nelson is Missouri’s State Highway Safety and Traffic Engineer, and he joins Show Me Today to talk about what the data is showing, what’s helping move the numbers in the right direction, and what still needs to change to keep more families from experiencing that loss.
