Missouri could be sitting on a gold mine of critical minerals, and one state lawmaker wants Missouri to take the opportunity to the bank.
Sugar Creek Representative Mike Steinmeyer is sponsoring a bill that would create a statewide task force to focus on Missouri’s critical minerals because the state has 36 of the nation’s 60 minerals. They are used in a variety of electronics and computer applications, lighting, and several other items critical to our economy and national security.
