New Year’s celebrations have come and gone, but the conversation about impaired driving in Missouri is far from over. 

Show Me Today reporter Matt Pilger spoke with Trisha Perkins, the state executive director for Mothers Against Drunk Driving, about why drunk and drugged driving continues to be a major concern, and what steps can help prevent these tragedies. She says impaired driving is the most preventable death on the roadway because it’s a choice.
