Mental health struggles among farmers are becoming an alarming concern—not just across rural America, but right here in Missouri.
A recent CBS News feature put a national spotlight on the issue, and one of the voices in that report was Jolie Foreman, co-founder of Shelby County Cares. She says northeast Missouri has some of the highest suicide rates in the state, and her group is working hard to close a critical gap in mental health care.
