A Mid-Missouri organization teaching veterans to play the guitar has struck a positive chord.
Dave Dunklee and his wife, CJ, started the Healing Box Project 14 years ago and have taught hundreds of veterans. Dunklee says many student-veterans report that playing the guitar soothes their troubles, makes them smile, and in at least one case, saved his life.
