(Wisconsin Rapids, WI) — A southwest Missouri man who was charged in a woman’s death in Missouri in 2007 has been linked to another murder case.  Wood County Wisconsin Sheriff Bob Becker said DNA has linked Chris Revak, of the Ozarks area of Missouri, to the deaths of two women: 36-year-old Rene Williams of Ava, Missouri in 2007 and 21-year-old Diedre Harm of Wisconsin in 2006. Revak committed suicide behind bars, while awaiting trial in Missouri two years after the Williams murder.  Detectives say he lived in Wisconsin before moving to Missouri and was a suspect in other murders.  He was also a suspect in the high-profile case of Iowa TV anchorwoman Jodi Huisentruit, who went missing in 1995. Her body has never been found.  Wood County Wisconsin District Attorney Jonathan Barnett said after reviewing the evidence he’s certain Revak would have been charged in Diedre Harm’s murder if he were alive today.  Sheriff Becker said he considers the case closed and notes while it doesn’t bring back Diedre, it provides some closure to her family.
