Four Missouri high school quiz bowl teams made the trek to Rosemont, Illinois this past weekend to compete in the 2025 Partnership for Academic Competition Excellence (PACE) National Scholastic Championship.
Lindbergh, Parkway West, Lee’s Summit and Mexico High School were among the schools that made up the 84-team field.

“This year eighty-four of the best teams in the nation came to Illinois and played a round robin tournament. We played teams from Michigan, Illinois, Minnesota, Texas, California, Virginia,” said Schenewerk. “We became the highest finishing small school in this tournament’s history.”
Lindbergh finished in 23rd place, Parkway West came in at 30th place and Lee’s Summit West placed at 79th.
