Armand Membou, a standout offensive lineman from Lee’s Summit, Missouri, was chosen 7th overall by the New York Jets, making him Mizzou’s highest draft pick since Aldon Smith in 2011. Membou’s selection continued Mizzou’s streak of having a player drafted for 21 consecutive seasons under coach Eliah Drinkwitz.
Luther Burden III, a dynamic wide receiver from St. Louis, was selected 39th overall by the Chicago Bears, becoming the first Mizzou wide receiver drafted since 2018. Burden III’s accolades included a two-time First Team All-SEC and a 34-game consecutive reception streak.
Marcus Bryant, originally from Round Rock, Texas, joined Membou and Burder in the NFL Draft by being selected in the seventh round by the New England Patriots. Bryant, after a standout season at Mizzou following his transfer from SMU, contributed to Mizzou’s robust offensive performance and was part of a strong draft class for the Tigers.
Additionally, former Mizzou players Brady Cook, Johnny Walker Jr., Nate Noel, and Theo Wease Jr. signed as undrafted free agents with various NFL teams, highlighting their careers and contributions to Mizzou football.
