Missouri voters will cast their election ballot today for a variety of local races, including for mayor, city council, boards of aldermen, school boards, and local bond issues.
Residents in flood-affected areas are urged to check with their local election authorities to see if there have been any changes in where they can vote.
To cast an election ballot, voters are required to have:
- A Missouri driver’s or non-driver’s license;
- A military ID; or
- A U.S. passport.
If you’re a registered voter but don’t bring a photo ID, you may cast a provisional ballot instead, but it will be only counted if you return to your polling site today with an ID or if election workers can verify your signature.
Polls are open statewide from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. If you are in line at 7 p.m., you will get to vote.
