A magazine is dedicated to the Mother Road, Route 66. Brennen Matthews is the editor and suggests that Missourians take advantage of everything the road offers in our state.
“You know, one thing that a lot of people don’t realize is that Missouri has more historic neon-laced motels than any of the other states,” says Matthews. “It really is a gem of a section of the route for that. Another cool thing is that MO has lots of unique roadside attractions that make the state a special part of the journey.”
