(Republic, MO) – A southwest Missouri medical supply company plans to close, putting 109 people out of jobs.

Resource Optimization and Innovation, also called ROi, said it will permanently close its plant in Republic.

In a notice to the state Department of Higher Education and Workforce Development, the company said layoffs are set to occur in three phases between March 7 and April 18.

ROi did not give a reason for the closure.
