Goodbye Blair, hello Cora – the latest winter storm to target the Show-Me State.

Southeastern Missouri and portions of south-central and southwestern Missouri are under a Winter Storm Warning, effective from 5:00 p.m Thursday through 6:00 p.m. Friday. Four to six inches of snow are expected in the warning areas, which include Branson, Pineville, West Plains, Poplar Bluff, Centerville, Cape Girardeau, Sikeston, New Madrid, and the Bootheel.

Most of the rest of Missouri is under a Winter Weather Advisory from tonight through early Friday evening, where two to four inches of snow are expected. Cities under the advisory include Kansas City, St. Louis, Springfield, Jefferson City, Columbia, and Sedalia. The Winter Weather Advisory is also forecast to end earlier in the Kansas City area — at 9:00 a.m. Friday.

Northern Missouri for the most part is not included in either the warning or the advisory.
