Patrick Mahomes threw for 159 yards and two touchdowns before leaving the game late in the fourth quarter with an ankle injury. The Chiefs will return home to host the Houston Texans in Week 16.

>>Chiefs’ Mahomes Exits Browns Win With Ankle Injury

The Chiefs are hoping their star quarterback isn’t seriously hurt. Patrick Mahomes left Sunday’s 21-7 win over the Browns late in the fourth quarter with an ankle issue. He didn’t return. Head coach Andy Reid told the media that nothing is “broken” after the game and considers Mahomes day-to-day. The star quarterback said he would have “fought” harder to return if the game was closer. Kansas City has a quick turnaround with a Saturday afternoon matchup against the Texans at Arrowhead and will play four days later on Christmas day against the Steelers in Pittsburgh.
