The Pro Football Hall of Fame named the 25 Modern-Era semifinalists for induction as part of the class of 2025 former St. Louis Rams wide receiver Torry Holt is back on the list for the 12th time. Holt with 12,660 yards and 74 touchdowns. Warner, Faulk, Bruce, Pace, and Rams head coach Dick Vermeil have all been inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, with Holt the only key member left from the offense of that team to not have been inducted. Jared Allen who started his career in KC is back on the list, Terrell Suggs who joined the Chiefs late in his career also on the list.

The Chiefs prep for their visit of the Carolina Panthers. Running back Isiah Pacheco was limited during yesterday’s practice, but Andy Reid says he’s getting closer to returning. The Chiefs sit atop the AFC at 9-1.

The St. Louis Blues try to avoid their third straight loss when they host the San Jose Sharks tonight. St. Louis is tied for fifth place in the Central Division with 17 points and an 8-11-and-1 record. Tonight’s game starts at 7:00 PM

One-time perennial powerhouse in Division II football Northwest Missouri State is moving on from their Head Coach Rich Wright. They will not renew his contract. Wright completed his eighth season at the Bearcat program finishing 6-5. Second consecutive year that the Bearcats failed to make the playoffs. He spent 21 years on the staff and he was a part of five national championship teams.

Mizzou women’s basketball had their best performance of the season taking down Saint Louis 112-59. Five players scored in double figure and they scored the most points in a game since 2013 against Bradley.

Detroit Tigers pitcher Tarik Skubal won the American League Cy Young over Seth Lugo of the Royals.
