The Chiefs are adding former New England Patriots wide receiver Tyquan Thornton plans to the practice squad. Thornton was waived on Saturday by the Patriots. The 24-year-old was selected in the second round of the 2022 draft out of Baylor after running a 4.28-second 40-yard dash at the NFL combine. He has 39 catches for 385 yards and two touchdowns through 28 career games.

QB Zach Zebrowski was named MIAA Conference Player of the Week for the fifth time this season. He accounted for 632 yards of total offense and seven touchdowns.
Missouri State men’s soccer earned a first-round bye and the 15th overall seed in the NCAA Tournament after receiving an at-large bid. Sunday, they will play the winner of Saint Louis and Kansas City. That match between the Roos and Billikens will be this Thursday in St. Louis. Kansas City in the tournament for the first time in 16 years. It’s their 51st tournament appearance for SLU, which is an NCAA record.
