The sixth-ranked Missouri Tigers pulled off a comeback win over No. 24 Boston College, scoring 24 unanswered points to secure a 27-21 victory at home. After trailing by double digits early in the game, Mizzou rallied to take control before halftime and maintained their lead to the end. With this win, the Tigers remain unbeaten at 3-0, while the Eagles drop to 2-1. Mizzou also extended their home winning streak against non-conference opponents to a school-record 19 games, dating back to 2017.

Key moments included a career-long 56-yard field goal from redshirt freshman Blake Craig and a six-yard rushing touchdown by quarterback Brady Cook, helping the Tigers take a commanding lead into the third quarter. Mizzou’s defense was stellar in the second half, limiting Boston College to just 17 total yards in the third quarter. The Tigers capitalized on two interceptions, turning them into 10 points, and held the Eagles to a mere 46 rushing yards. A blown coverage led to a late BC touchdown to pull them to within six, but Mizzou was able to run out the clock.

Brady Cook completed 21 of 30 passes for 264 yards and one touchdown, while wide receiver Luther Burden III racked up 117 yards on six receptions. On the ground, Nate Noel added 121 rushing yards, and the defense was led by Marvin Burks Jr. and Triston Newson, who each had five tackles. Mizzou now turns its attention to next week’s SEC opener against Vanderbilt.
