A Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper is accused of accessing videos and photos from several women he pulled over during traffic stops.

The 39-year-old trooper is charged with five felony counts of invasion of privacy in southeast Missouri’s Scott County and one felony count in New Madrid County.

KFVS-TV reported that the trooper pulled women over, took their phones back to his patrol car, and accessed any photos or videos that may have been on them and recorded them with his personal cellphone. He allegedly copied partial and fully nude images found on some of the women’s phones.

The state trooper works in Troop E, and is specifically assigned to work in Scott, Mississippi, and New Madrid counties.
