The Fort Leonard Wood law enforcement and the Army Criminal Investigation Division are looking into the circumstances surrounding a dead soldier that was found unresponsive with a gunshot wound.
The unnamed person was pronounced dead in an on-post residence just after midnight Friday morning by emergency personnel.
The soldier’s identification is being withheld until next-of-kin is notified.
