If you’re looking for a job in August, consider the Missouri State Fair. It is accepting employment applications during the annual event which runs from August 8 – 28 in Sedalia.
Available positions include admissions, backstage, campgrounds, carnival, grandstand, hospitality, janitorial, parking, publicity/marking, maintenance, revenue, trams, and youth crew.
Starting pay is $15 per hour and benefits include valuable work experience as well as free admission to the fair.

The fair’s personnel office in the Historic Administration Building, across from the State Fair Grandstand, is open Wednesday through Friday from 12 noon to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
