The Missouri Legislature has passed its sixth bill of the session – one that would stop state funding from going to Planned Parenthood or other abortion providers. The final passage by the Missouri House comes amid the Senate’s Freedom Caucus threatening to block passage of any other bills until the governor signs this one into law. The bill now goes to Governor Mike Parson.

The bill’s sponsor, Sen. Mary Elizabeth Coleman, R-Arnold, tells Anthony Morabith that she hopes the effort can be enshrined in state statute after previous legal attempts have failed.
