Congress has passed legislation to keep the federal government open through early March. The bill helps to fund some federal agencies, including those that oversee agriculture, veterans’ services, and transportation.
The opposing votes within Missouri’s Congressional delegation include U.S. Senators Josh Hawley and Eric Schmitt, as well as Congressmen Eric Burlison and Mark Alford.
The legislation was passed within hours of Friday’s deadline. President Joe Biden has signed the bill.
