The state of Missouri is suing the Biden Administration over distributing abortion pills in the mail.

Attorney General Andrew Bailey’s office has filed a lawsuit against the Food and Drug Administration and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The suit argues the F.D.A. and H.H.S. don’t have the authority to approve using the U.S. mail to ship abortion medications, including mifepristone, and is seeking an injunction to halt shipments.

The injunction also seeks to reverse F.D.A. approval of generic mifepristone.

The Biden Administration, meanwhile, wants the U.S. Supreme Court to reverse a lower court ruling that limits access to the abortion drug.
