Public meetings in cities and towns along the Missouri River will be hosted next week by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

The meetings are held each year to provide updates on the current year’s runoff and reservoir operations along the river. The Corps will also unveil plans for next year’s runoff.

The state of Missouri’s meeting is scheduled for Thursday, November 9th, at 10:00 a.m. at the Jerry Litton Visitor Center in Smithville.

Meetings will also be held next week in Poplar, Montana; Bismarck, North Dakota; Pierre and Lower Brule, South Dakota; and Bellevue, Nebraska.
