Study: Positive relationships among teachers and students boosts academic success and fulfillment (LISTEN)

Most of us would assume that positive teacher-student relationships promote student academic achievement, such as better grades and test scores, but a new study at the University of Missouri finds positive teacher-student relationships lead to better teaching as well.

Dr. Christi Bergin is a research professor at the MU College of Education and Human Development. She’s also the senior author on the study regarding academic relationships and tells Joey Parker what she and her team found.
