Dozens of bills have been filed across the country to ban trans athletes from paying on teams with which they identify.
Missouri Senate Bill 781, the “Save Women’s Sports Act,” would prohibit people born as male from participating in female athletic sports.
It would impact middle school, high school and collegiate athletics in the Show Me State.
The bill’s sponsor is Republican State Senator Mike Moon of south Missouri’s Ash Grove.
