Blues veteran Alexander Steen is retiring following 15 seasons in the NHL. Steen announced his retirement Thursday due to a back injury he suffered during last season. The 36-year-old played in over one-thousand NHL games with St. Louis and the Toronto Maple Leafs. He recorded 245 goals and 377 assists in a career that included a Stanley Cup with the Blues in 2019.
