Cardinals-Cubs opener postponed after another positive COVID-19 test

August 7, 2020 By Bill Pollock

Tonight’s game between the Chicago Cubs and Cardinals at Busch Stadium has been postponed due after another Cardinals player tested positive for COVID-19.

No decisions have been made yet about the rest of the series this weekend, but the Cardinals are going through additional testing and contact tracing Friday afternoon to determine if the spread is wider than one player.
