Tommy Edman drove in the Cardinals’ lone run as they fell to the Pirates 5-1 in St. Louis.
The Cardinals took two of three in the series and were one of the last three remaining undefeated teams in MLB to fall on Sunday.
Dakota Hudson gave up four runs over four-and-a-third to take the loss.
The Cards will face the Twins for two games in Minnesota starting tomorrow.
