The owners of the new St. Louis MLS franchise are moving forward with the construction of a downtown soccer stadium despite concerns surrounding the coronavirus pandemic. The ownership group said site preparation and the building of the stadium at Market and 20th streets will proceed with precautions in place. They also understand that current plans could change. The owners hope to have the stadium built in time for the first game in March of 2022.
