Most government offices are closed today, with the exception of emergency services such as the Missouri State Highway Patrol and prisons.

Banks and financial institutions are closed, and there will be no regular mail delivery today. Regular mail delivery will resume on Wednesday.

The next federal and Missouri holiday is on January 21, which is Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
