Top Stories:  The family of an Kansas City police officer who was shot and killed on his night off is suing the restaurant where it happened.  Officer Thomas Orr was at popular spot in the Westport entertainment district last August when police say he was the victim of crossfire.  And Governor Eric Greitens has spotlighted an increase in K-through-12 spending in his proposed budget, but the outlay still falls short of fully funding the state’s foundation formula. The governor’s plan also slices $13 million from money currently set aside for school transportation.
