Top Stories:  A Missouri S&T student was charged with making terrorist threats yesterday after saying he was going to open fire on campus with an assault rifle.  According to a release from the school, Alexander Beetler allegedly made the threats Sunday, but was nowhere near campus or Rolla at the time.  Beetler was taken into custody after police stopped him near Lebanon. A weapon was not found on his person or in his car.  And Columbia State Rep. Kip Kendrick expects Missouri’s colleges and universities to consider tuition increases, cuts to programs and layoffs because of Governor Greitens’ proposed state budget. The governor is recommending 70-million dollars in proposed higher education cuts for the fiscal year budget that begins July 1.
