Mizzou women stay at 11th in AP Poll

January 23, 2018 By Bill Pollock

The Mizzou Women’s Basketball, off to their best 19-game start in program history,  stayed at number 11 in this week’s AP Top 25 poll.  The Tigers (17-2, 5-1)are coming off of two impressive wins this week and now prepare for a brutal three-game stretch that will give us a good indication as to just how talented this team really is.

After wins at Ole Miss (67-48) and at home against Arkansas (88-54), Mizzou will start a stretch against three ranked teams.

The Tigers begin the week Thursday at 21st ranked Georgia.  Then on Sunday, Mizzou takes a trip to 9th ranked South Carolina in a rematch of the Tigers 83-74 win over the then 4th ranked Gamecocks.  This brutal stretch of games will conclude a week from Thursday when the Tigers host 2nd ranked Mississippi State, who currently sits at 20-0.
