The Mizzou women’s basketball team improved to (17-2, 5-1) and led wire-to-wire for the second consecutive game as the Tigers cruised past border rival, Arkansas, 88-54 on Sunday afternoon.

Mizzou’s 17-2 mark continues its best overall record in program history through 19 games.

The Tigers made 27-of-52 shots and held Arkansas to 33 percent shooting from the field.

Junior Sophie Cunningham scored 22 points and made 12-of-14 free throws while redshirt senior Jordan Frericks added 12 points and pulled down eight rebounds. In her second consecutive start, redshirt senior Kayla Michael poured in a season-high 13 points on 6-of-8 shooting.
