Troopers say a man died after his truck was hit by a train this week in a snow-related accident in southwest Missouri’s Dade County. The News-Leader reports 86-year-old Bob Bishop died at a hospital after his pickup slid on a snow-covered road and went into the path of the train. And the Missouri Hospital Association says opioid use and overdose deaths cost Missouri one-point-four MILLION dollars PER HOUR in 2016. Association vice president Mat Reidhead says nearly three Missourians died daily from an opioid overdose in 2016.
