Northwest Missouri State steppers win national championship

The Northwest Missouri State Bearcat Steppers won the program’s first national championship, winning the Open Game Day competition. 2018 marked the first year the Game Day event was included in the UDA National Championship program in Orlando, FL this weekend.  The Steppers also took second place in the Open Pom finals earlier in the day.

In cheer, Division I, Missouri State finished 6th.

In cheer, Division II, Northwest finished 4th.

In cheer, Small Co-ed Division II, Drury University finished 2nd.

In dance open, Lindenwood finished 2nd, Central Missouri 7th.  Lindenwood also finished 2nd in jazz.

In poms, Northwest was second and Central Missouri 9th
