Most of Missouri’s roads are in good shape, but icy conditions are present on some highways in the north central and northeastern portion of the state.

Travel to and from Hannibal, Bowling Green, Alexandra, Kahoka, Kirksville, Brookfield and Moberly could be slower due to slick roads, although the Department of Transportation has treated the pavement.

Icy conditions could also be affecting travel in Clinton County, north of Kansas City and on some roads northeast of St. Joseph.  the customer service line at 888 275 6636 or you can get on Modot’s Traveler Information map to find the latest road conditions.

There are school delays and closing ranging from Springfield through mid-Missouri’s Columbia and Jefferson City, and extending into the northern part of the state.
