Missourinet 7 a.m. News 1-8-2018

January 8, 2018 By Jason Taylor

Top Stories: Icy conditions are present on some highways in the north central and northeastern portion of the state.  Travel to and from Hannibal, Bowling Green, Alexandra, Kahoka, Kirksville, Brookfield and Moberly could be slower due to slick roads, although the Department of Transportation has treated the pavement.  And a 19-year-old college student from Liberty near Kansas City was killed overnight after a car slammed into the front of a bar in northwest Missouri’s Maryville.
