Cierpoit, who won a special election last year, will resign his House seat once he’s sworn into the Senate. And Greene County Sheriff Jim Arnott is suing Missouri State Auditor Nicole Galloway. The lawsuit cites Galloway for declining to release whistleblower complaints alleging misuse of public funds to promote a 1/2-cent sales tax.
