Nixon spokesman Scott Holste says the presentation will take place at the Capitol’s Senate Lounge on Thursday morning at 11.

Holste tells Missourinet Nixon and his wife, Georganne, will attend the ceremony.

Holste says Governor Eric Greitens (R), Senate President Pro Tem Ron Richard (R), House Speaker Todd Richardson (R) and State Auditor Nicole Galloway (D) are also expected to attend the portrait presentation, along with other lawmakers.

Nixon served as Missouri’s 55th Governor from 2009 to January 2017.

He previously served four terms as Missouri Attorney General, from January 1993 to 2009.
