Lost dog from New Mexico shows up in Missouri

January 1, 2018 By Missourinet Contributor

A dog that mysteriously traveled all the way to Missouri is getting reunited with his family from New Mexico.

Jamie Bergman says she found a Husky in her backyard one day.

It was covered in ice, but seemed okay.

She took it to get microchipped and found out the Husky was a long way from home.

The dog had been missing for almost a year!

Bergman, who recently lost the same breed of pet, thinks fate played a part in the event.

“The fact that we had a husky pass away the first of December, it makes me think did she have something to do with it?” said Jamie Bergman, the woman who found the husky. “Did she send this dog to us because he needed help? How did he jump the fence in my yard? How? It’s so crazy.”

The dog will head back to his home in New Mexico this month.
